He was predeceased by: his parents, James Eugene Lovett, Sr. and Martha Jim Avera Lovett; his wife Carolyn Lovett; and his brother Jimmy Lovett. He is survived by: his sisters, Jan Lindsey of Adel and Genie Womble (Charlie) of Savannah. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
