He was predeceased by: his parents, Alton Connell and Besie Purvis Connell; and his brothers, James Alton Connell and Billy Connell. He is survived by: his wife Dot Connell of West Berrien; his children, Tammy Connell of Lenox and Jimmy Wayne "Buddy" Connell of West Berrien; and his grandchildren, Melanie Waychoff, Lori Ann Addison, Brittany White, Chase White, Stacey Guck and Masi Danielle Connell. He is also survived by six great grandchildren.
