With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Betty Bailey of Adel, Georgia, born in Candler, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 21, 2024 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Betty is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Betty's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Marion Burgin Wells and Helen Eleanor Brown Wells; and her children, Lark Jones, Caroline Jones and Sandra Kaye Maglaris.
She is survived by: her children, Donald Bailey (Leslie) of Adel, Kenneth Jones of Sparks, Georgia and Hope Coulter of Valdosta; and her daughter-in-law Bertha Jones of Adel. She is also survived by five grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
