She was predeceased by: her husband Tarrell Purvis; her children, Linda Allen, Kay Cowart and Thomas Cowart; and her siblings, Edward Hall, Walter Hall, Doris Henderson, Jimmie Lou Carter and Carolyn McDowell.
She is survived by: her daughter Jeanne Walker (Randy) of Eatonton, GA; and her grandchildren, Emily Schramm (Joey), Sara Mackie (Corey), Sam Allen (Jennifer), Ivy Sisler (Michael), David Allen (Marilyn) and Rana Parramore. She is also survived by several great grandchildren; and several nieces & nephews.
