She was predeceased by: her parents, Lucious Gaskins and Ellen Solomon Gaskins; and her siblings, Delthenia Griffin, Herbert Gaskins, James Gaskins and Breman Gaskins.

She is survived by: her husband Herbert Morris Pittman of Adel. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
