She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Shumaker Redwine and James Redwine; her husband Reverend Charles Clayton; her son Kenneth Carlisle; and her close friend Odell Cabe.
She is survived by: her granddaughter Christina Baker; her great grandchild Colby Terry; her children, James Carlisle (Linda), Brenda Hicks, Teresa King (Paul) and Darlene Davidson (Scott); and her siblings, Pat Martin, Wanda Baldwin and David Redwine. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
