He was predeceased by: his parents, William Rutherford Crowder and Willie Edgar Fuller Crowder; and his wife Betty Marie Minton Crowder. He is survived by: his children, Denise Stephenson (Jerry), Darlene Buchanan (Jerry), Becky Murray and George W. "Chip" Murray; his siblings, Robert L. Crowder, Mary Elizabeth "Sis" Wall and Barbara C. Rogers; his grandchildren, Jerry Wayne Buchanan Jr., Wesley James Buchanan, Jena Marie Tribble, William Seth Murray, Mathew Jake McLemore and Beth Denise Faircloth; and his great grandchildren, Nathan Murray Buchanan, Carlie Ann Buchanan, Juliet McKenize Tribble, Kayden Murray, Brailey Faircloth, Hunter Faircloth, Sean Faircloth, Xavier McLemore, Dylan Rackley, Tamra Crider and Logan McLemore.
