With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Vera Maxine Bailey of Adairsville, Georgia, born in Cartersville, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 25, 2024 at the age of 75. She was predeceased by: her parents, D. W. Colston and Bernice Gulledge Colston-Edwards; her husband Elvis Clyde Bailey; her aunts and uncles, E. C. Gulledge (Mutt), Herman Gulledge, Frances King, Mildred Johnson and Betty Payne; her stepfather Cecil Edwards; and her sister-in-law Elsie Moore.
She is survived by: her cousin Carla (Steve Teasley); her niece Jada (Shane Swift); and her siblings-in-law, Wanda Lynch, Edward Bailey and Bobby Bailey. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
