It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley McDougle of Adairsville, Georgia, born in Bartow, Georgia, who passed away on July 29, 2020, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Ford Padgett and Bertie Stell Padgett; her brother Joseph Padgett; her granddaughter Tracey McGinnis Whaley; and her son-in-law Michael Hurst.
She is survived by: her children, David McGinnis (Donna), Gary McGinnis (Cindy), Sharon Parker (Wayne), Marie Hurst and Cynthia McGuire (Greg); her grandchildren, Angie Glosson (Josh), Kim Harp (Phillip), Jessica Witting (Josh), Justin Harris (Alexandria), Chrissy Bryant (William), Kevin Parker (Jamie), Amber Parker (Garrett Martin), Charlie McGinnis, Tiffany Loftis (Dustin), Eugene Young (Sam), Alan Young (Lexii), Joshua Hurst, Jason McGuire (Kristen), Keisha Dutton (Todd) and Krista Bryant (Jeremy); her great grandchildren, Caitlyn, Jenica Glosson, Alex Whaley, Leah, Macey, Cara, Hunter Harp, Blade, Brant Bryant, Chandler Smith, Jackson Parker, Dakota, Brison McGinnis, Grace Crocker, Fabian Mulkey, Tuff Loftis, Kinlee Young, Lauralye Young, Sadie, Asher McGuire, Lexie, J. T. Dutton, Reygan, Abby Witting, Ryley, Ryver, Rydge and Rayven Harris; her great great grandchild Daxton McGinnis; and her siblings, Kenneth Padgett (Nancy), Gene Padgett (Thelma), Clara Shope (Eddie) and Helen Wiggins (Cleve).
