He was predeceased by: his father Charles Burl; his wife Joyce Elaine Lacey Culberson; his son Brian Culberson; his granddaughter Elizabeth Lacey Culberson; and his siblings, J. W. Culberson, Elizabeth Culberson, Otha Mae Herod, Ivanell Edwards, Ovelle Culberson and Hurlene Chesser.
He is survived by: his son Rusty (Theresa Culberson); his grandchildren, Ami, Ty Jones, Sarah and Glenn Mitchell; and his great grandchildren, Piper Jones and Glenn. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
