He was predeceased by: his parents, Wofford C. Scott and Bernice Sutton Scott. He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Malone Scott; his sons, Patrick Miles Scott (Maria), Jeremy Brian Scott (Elizabeth) and Jonathan Carl Scott (Andrea); and his grandchildren, Andrew Malone Scott, Katelyn Grace Scott, Jarrett Miles Scott, Rebekah Grace Scott and Lily Kate Scott.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Barton Funeral Home (131 Summer St, Adairsville, GA 30103). The lying in state was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Adairsville First Christian Church (118 Hotel St, Adairsville, GA 30103). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
