She is survived by: her daughter Michelle Carson; her brother Nelson McConnell (Thelma); her grandchildren, Linares Carson, Brittany Carson, Abrea Carson and Jewell Smith (Joseph); her great grandchildren, Nia Michelle Carson, John Trey Carson, Jordan Adé Carson, Janae Brown, Jayvian Carson, Javius Carson, Jamaryah Brown, Deveion Reynolds, Jaziaha Smith and Joseph Smith, Jr.; and her great great grandchild Khaliya Carson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
