It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Martha Ann Reed of Adairsville, Georgia, born in Columbus, Georgia, who passed away on September 8, 2020, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arlin J. Chappell and Vesta Mae Hunt Chappell; her husband Marvin Howard Reed; her daughter Frances Fultz-Reed; her grandchildren, Dustin Reed, Tia Dotson and Michael Dotson; her siblings, Eugene, Curtis, Calvin Chappell, Vera Roberson, Yovonne Adcock and Arlene Lingerfelt; and her son-in-law Freddy Marrero, Sr..

She is survived by: her children, Michael Highfield, Jimmy Reed, Carl Reed (Heather), Shelia Ann Lovingood (Larry) and Sherry Marrero; and her brother Tommy Chappell. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, great great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Following Covid19 guidelines with social distancing, graveside services will be held Thursday, September 10, 2020, at 5:00 PM from Eastview Cemetery, Adairsville with Rev. Vince Gulledge officiating.
