She is survived by: her husband James Wood; her children, Larry Neil Griffin, Jr., James Harlan Griffin, Buster Freeman, Van Freeman and Joy Bryant; her brothers, Eddie Knowles and Dale Knowles; her granddaughter Kristi Michelle Cosper; her son Johnny; her daughter-in-law Jeri Griffin; and her brother Clyde Knowles. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and a host of great great-grandchildren.
