She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Fred E. Coker and Ruth Thomas Coker. She is survived by: her husband Dillard Abernathy of Adairsville; her sons, Steve (Angela Abernathy), Craig Abernathy and Michael (Melissa Abernathy); her niece Theresa (Dennis Black); her grandchildren, Katie, Taylor Forsyth, Daniel Abernathy, Morgan, Casey Waits and Matthew Abernathy; her great-niece Avery Black; her nephew Caleb Black; her great grandchildren, Camden Forsyth, Sawyer Forsyth and Havyn Waits; and her brothers, Charles Coker and Wayne Coker. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
