He was predeceased by: his father Charles Eugene Smith; his brothers, Glenn and Ricky Smith; and his grandson Dalton Smith. He is survived by: his wife Hilda Smith; his sons, Gregory Ladon Smith, Jr. (Pamela) and Adam Michael Smith (Meredith); his grandchildren, Shae Smith, Dallas Smith, Dixie Smith, Cayden Smith, Ayden Smith and Colton Trammell; his nieces, Lissie Ingram and Angel Ingram; and his siblings, Mike Smith (Theresa), Kevin Smith (Teresa), Debbie Lemons and Candace Blalock (Hunter). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
