She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil B. Harris and Irene Knight Harris; her husband William Lawrence Cabaniss; and her siblings, Bobby Harris, Maxine Freeman and Mary Kathryn Griffin.
She is survived by: her children, Nancy Cabaniss (Joe King), Leslie Cabaniss-Martin (Mike Martin) and Edward "Eddie" Cabaniss. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
