He is survived by: his sons, Steve (Angela Abernathy), Craig Abernathy and Michael (Melissa Abernathy); his niece Theresa (Dennis Black); his grandchildren, Katie, Taylor Forsyth, Daniel Abernathy, Morgan, Casey Waits and Matthew Abernathy; his nephew Avery Black; his great grandchildren, Camden Forsyth, Sawyer Forsyth, Weston Forsyth, Havyn Waits and Emmett Waits; and his siblings, Annelle Smith, Sarah Lanham, Hilda Parker Wilson and Earl (Brenda Abernathy). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
