He was predeceased by: his parents, James Hogan and Judy Cantrell Hogan. He is survived by: his children, Kaylea Sosa and Preston Gayton; and his siblings, Scott Gayton (Lisa) and Angela Miller (Jeff). He is also survived by three nieces and one nephew.
