He was predeceased by: his parents, Renis Cole and Gladys Cole; his daughter Rita Lynn Cole; and his sister Aileen Blalock. He is survived by: his son Joseph Shawn Cole (Tara); his grandchildren, Alley, Molly, Trey, Rhett and Ryan; his son Timothy Cole (Delisha); and his brothers, Ronnie Cole, Doyle Cole, Donnie Cole and Lloyd Cole.
