She was predeceased by: her parents, I. W. Crabtree and Emma Murphree Crabtree; her husband Marvin Earl "Pete" Painter; her siblings, Arch, John, Harry Crabtree, Grace Crabtree, Sarah Watts, Helen Trout and Mary Sandlin; and her daughter-in-law Cheryl Painter.
She is survived by: her children, Fred (Chris Painter), Bob (Susan Painter), Nancy (Curt Stroud) and Gayle (Joe Misto); her sister Martha Jane White; her grandchildren, Tiffany Painter (Blake Andrews), Lacey Painter (Luis De), Angie Pinkard (Jim), Chad DeLong, Brent Painter (Elizabeth), Ani Stengel (Brian), Jessica Garcia (Antonio), Brooks Stroud, Caroline Stroud, Jay Misto and Holly Misto; and her great grandchildren, Jayce, Kylie, Milania, Cooper, Bronx, Camila, Maggie, Sara, Luke, Leia, Lana, Bret and Austin. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
