She is survived by: her children, Eddie Evans and Cardale Carter; her father Leroy Carter; her grandchildren, Kayla, Kian, Khloe, Kyler, Kace, Jordan, Xavier, Kamori, Kam, Ka'mya, Jayla, Kamoni, Kael, Kardier and Kross; her niece Mercedes Carter; her siblings, Darlene Carter Bryant, Stephanie Wilkins (Billy), Crissy Fisher and Chris Brewer; her aunts, Annie Bell Carter Sanders, Joan Carter and Shirley Lowe; her uncle Melvin "Winkie" Lowe; her close friends, Lisa Riley, Doris Riley, Jan Pullum and Margaret Curtis; and her friend Ruby. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
