He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Banks and Katherine Pearson. He is survived by: his wife Judith Ann Banks; his children, Alan Banks Jr. (Catherine), Bradley Banks (Noel), Clinton Banks (Shannon), Edward Podsiad (Sierra), Grace Bishop (Jeff) and James Peyton; his grandchildren, Christian Banks, Landon Banks, Spencer Banks, Celeste Banks, Colette Banks, Lochlyn Podsiad and Rowyn Podsiad; and his brothers, Bruce Banks (Sylvia), Donald Banks (Susan) and Gerald Banks (Sue).
