He is survived by: his wife Mary Burns; his sisters, Patricia Pedersen (Bill) and Nora Primiano (John); his sons, William IV "Billy" Burns (Melinda) and Matthew Burns (Michelle); and his grandchildren, Samantha, William Burns (Will), Ethan and Elise Burns.
