Though Wanda Bookout may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Wanda Bookout touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. She was predeceased by: her husband Sam Hicks. She is survived by: her son Steve (Donna); her grandchildren, Jennifer Malone, Amanda Belcher (Maurice Lewis), Justin Belcher and Amber Corley (Jared); and her nephews, Chris and Jeff Dillard. She is also survived by six great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Mayes Ward-Dobbins Marietta Chapel (180 Church St, Marietta, GA 30060). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Mt. Paran Church of God North (1700 Allgood Rd NE, Marietta, GA 30062). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 at 2:30 PM at the Enon Cemetery - Woodstock (7426 Main St, Woodstock, GA 30188).
