With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Virgil Prather of Acworth, Georgia, who passed away on January 10, 2024 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ethel Baker Prather (Baker) and Virgil Ray Prather; his stepmother Hazel Prather; and his wife Lillie Mae Prather. He is survived by: his siblings, Shirley Burns and Jim Prather; his children, Delisa Bouldin (David), Steve Prather (Lori) and Beth Watkins (Doug); and his grandchildren, Jennifer Giannetta (Tony), Chaz McEntire (Mac Young), Drew Prather, Marina Prather, Cera Rose Prather, Jamey Watkins, Jake Watkins and Julia Watkins.
