He is survived by: his wife Carol Segers; his children, Darren Segers, Stacy Danner, Scott Segers and Michael Gruener; and his grandsons, Aidan Segers and Austin Danner.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to The Gift of Music Foundation.
