He is survived by: his parents, Leroy Jerome McCarty and Marie E. Sweeney; his brother Shane McCarty; his children, Mary Allison Molly McCarty, Kathleen M. Sullivan (John Joseph) of Acworth, GA., Lara Mary Jude McCarty and Timothy Joseph McCarty of Reno, NV; his granddaughter Leah Marie Aguilar Ruvalcaba (Art); and his great grandchildren, Ezra and Alma. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
