Shirley Ann Bender Obituary

We are sad to announce that on July 22, 2023 we had to say goodbye to Shirley Ann Bender of Acworth, Georgia, born in Whiting, Indiana. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, George Kaminsky and Victoria Kaminsky; her husband James Bender; her daughter Patricia Barath; and her sisters, Cecile Hlebasko and Dolores Burns.

She is survived by: her daughters, Susan Wiersma (Joel), Debra Hutchinson (Rick), Jennifer Fisher (Gerald), Cynthia Braviere (Clyde) and Lisa Bender (Jason Monroe); and her brother George Kaminsky (Del). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren.

She was always giving and volunteering out in the community, Shirley made and donated prayer shawls to hospice patients, as well as volunteered at Riverside Hospital.
