She was predeceased by: her husband William H. Whitlock, Jr.; her parents, Guy Mauldin and Dorothy Mauldin; and her brothers, Jim and Jerry Mauldin.

She is survived by: her sons, William H. Whitlock, III (Lisa) of Kennesaw and David G. Whitlock (Laura) of Acworth; and her grandchildren, Zachary Whitlock (Brianca), Audrey Bennett (Greg), Joshua Whitlock (Katy), Amanda Brendel (Nicolas), Samuel Whitlock (Abigail), Jacob Whitlock (Mattie) and Ashlynne Whitlock (Michael). She is also survived by 8 great grandchildren.
