She was predeceased by: her husband William Everett Biddy; her son Jeff Biddy; her grandchildren, Cindy Dickerson and Benjamin Walter Biddy; her parents, Irving Hartsfield and Ethel Griffin Hartsfield; her siblings, Arlissa Moss, Mary Simpson, Gertrude White, Charlotte Wooten, Eva Mae Jones, John Hartsfield, David Hartsfield, Hubert Hartsfield, Max Hartsfield and Tony Hartsfield; and her brother-in-law Bill Smith.

She is survived by: her children, Anne Southern (Jeff), Walter Biddy, Glen Biddy (Angie) and Joan Mobley (Vann); her sister Gladys Johnson; and her grandchildren, Kara Dillard, Rett Mobley, Matthew, Will Southern, Eli Biddy, Trista Biddy and Savannah Payton. She is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.

In lieu of flowers you may send a donation in Ruby's memory to New Zion Baptist Church.
