He was predeceased by: his parents, Esco Ferguson and Gladys Ferguson; his wife Gloria Ferguson; and his sisters, Diane Ferguson, Carolyn Ferguson and Vicky Ramsey.

He is survived by: his sister Gail Thomas; his brother-in-law Danny Ramsey; his children, Mitchell Ferguson (Joy), Gina Manning (Doug), Brian Castleberry (June) and Cara Elizabeth Snyder (Michael); his grandchildren, Tony Samples, Jessica Bennett (Jason), Madalyn Delgadillo, Alexander Chavarria, Madison Ferguson and Jacey Ferguson; his great grandchildren, Haley, Macey, Mason, Lilly and Paislynn Samples; and his nieces and nephews, Sandy Saylor (Billy), Jennifer Russell (Jeremiah), Jason Ramsey (Pansy), Jamie Brooks (Ronda) and Kelly Ramsey.
