He is survived by: his wife Helen Prather of Acworth, GA; his children, Melissa Prather of Acworth, GA and Jonathon Prather (Rhonda) of Concord, NC.; and his siblings, Jolene Cummings of Acworth, GA, Eddie Prather (Priscilla), Travis Prather (Teresa), Jarvis Prather (Charlene), Roy Prather Jr. (Debra) and Stan Prather of Portland, OR. He is also survived by five brothers.
