She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Evans Michaels and Fronnie Lanell Riggs-Michaels; her sister Lillian M. Michaels-Meshaw; and her husband John Arthur Victor Hartwig. She is survived by: her brother Ronnie Hugh Michaels of Charlotte, NC; her children, Diane Marie Hartwig of Marietta, GA and John Arthur Hartwig (Tracy) of Venice, FL; and her grandchildren, Adam John Hartwig of Athens, GA and Katelyn Dianne Hartwig of Statesboro, GA..
