He is survived by: his wife Rita Rider; his stepdaughter Heather Walters (Garth); his grandchildren, Amanda of Acworth, Skylar of Acworth and Madeline Walters of Acworth; and his nieces and nephews, Clifton Patty of Ringgold, GA, Bill Rider of Rome, GA, Matthew Lovett Newton of Atlanta, GA, Lynn Hood of Trion, GA, Roxanna of Chino, CA. and Melody Brown of Chino, CA..
