She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Dewey Mayes and Sallie Johnson Mayes; her brother Bobby; her son Joel Davis; and her stepson Leslie Cabe.

She is survived by: her husband Joel Lamar Davis; her brothers, Frank, Julian, George and Walter Harold Mayes; her son Gary Davis (Jane); her stepson Robin Cabe (Peggy); her daughters-in-law, Annette Davis and Analyn Cabe; her grandchildren, Joel Davis (Leah), Nathanial Cabe (Melissa), Nicol Cabe, Collin Solonka, Jarrett Davis (Gray), Josie Cabe and Abbie Cabe; and her great grandchildren, JT Davis, Kendall Cabe and Liam McMahon. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
