He was predeceased by: his parents, George Payne and Mavis Payne; and his siblings, Doris Payne Day and Carlis Payne. He is survived by: his sons, George Duke Payne, Frederick Jackson Payne and Eugene Shelton Payne; and his siblings, Jimmy Payne, George Payne and Patty Aldridge. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
