It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lisa Joy Lastinger of Acworth, Georgia, born in Griffin, Georgia, who passed away on February 26, 2024, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Reverend Marlon Emerson Lastinger; and her sister Lora Lastinger Langley. She is survived by: her children, Marissa Christian Miller of Colorado, Grant Emerson Smith of Colorado and Aimee Pelagie Smith of Acworth, GA.; her granddaughter Dakota Carolyn Smith; her mother Joyce Ferguson Cawley of Smyrna; her stepmother Ann Lastinger of Sandersville; and her sisters, Debi Lastinger of Lansing, Cara DeCelles of Green Mountain, NC. and Ellen Lastinger Curry of Jasper, GA. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
