She was predeceased by: her parents, Lillaird Elvin (Dill) and Pearilee Simmons; her husband Ken Richardson; her son Alvin Lunceford; her grandsons, Wesley Lunceford and Jeff Lunceford; and her siblings, Doris Preston, Susie Mae Canup and Elvin Simmons.

She is survived by: her son Bobby Lunceford (Becky); her granddaughters, Kim Ayers (Darin), Valerie Gilmore (Anthony), Amy Kessler (Kevin) and Michelle TaiSee (Louis); and her siblings, Jewel McMillan, Melvin Simmons (Betty) and Joe Simmons (Gail). She is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
