He was predeceased by: his former wife Mary Ethel McClure Kennedy; his parents, Laburn Ardell and Mary Lee Kennedy; his siblings, Jimmy Kennedy, Hazel Collins and Rosie Johnston; and his stepson Brian Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Carole M. Kennedy of Acworth; his son Warren Lee Kennedy (Laura) of Cartersville; his grandchildren, Chrissy Nikole Kennedy Wright (David), Chris Kennedy (Sarah) and Will Hicks (Catherine); his siblings, Doris Truitt Smith (Lamon), Annette Wigley, Carolyn Gasaway (Kenny), Ronnie Kennedy and Nancy Hughes (Tony); and his stepchildren, Scott Kays (Lisa), David Clark (Tammi), Denyse McClure (Jerome), Dennis Smith and Roger Steve Smith (Marclle). He is also survived by 6 great grand children and numerous nieces and nephews.
