She was predeceased by: her parents, Oliver H. Dover and Ella Mae Peterson Dover; and her siblings, Mary "Tootsie" Murat, C. W. Dover and Oliver.
She is survived by: her husband Rev. Gerald W. McPherson of Ballground; her daughters, Brenda S. McPherson of Ballground, Shelley Mascitti (Joe) of Woodstock and Lynn Palmer of Ballground; her grandchildren, Tiffany Reece (David) of Sterling, Brandi Baka (Joey) of Dallas, GA, Emma Palmer of Ballground and Alex Mascitti of Woodstock; her great grandchildren, Landon Baka and Lukas Baka of Dallas, GA; and her brothers, Donald Dover (LaRae) and Larry Dover. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, brothers-in law, and sisters-in-law.
Visitation was held on Saturday, August 31st 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Collins Funeral Home (4947 N Main St, Acworth, GA 30101). A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 1st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church (6847 Old 41 Hwy NW, Acworth, GA 30101). A burial was held on Sunday, September 1st 2024 at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery (6847 Old 41 Hwy NW, Acworth, GA 30101).
