We are sad to announce that on May 12, 2022, at the age of 82, JoAnne Polkinghorn of Acworth, Georgia, born in Gainesville, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Stephens and Rosa Stephens; her children, Nancy Voyles and Donald Polkinghorn II; her brother Charles Billy Stephens; and her granddaughter Ashley Michelle Voyles.

She is survived by: her husband Donald Polkinghorn; her children, Tammy Lynch, Greg Spencer, Angela Jones, Susan Tancraitor, Joann Sims and Danny Polkinghorn; and her niece Paula Thrasher. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
