He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Edward and Ada Corine Meadows; his son Eddie; his stepdaughter Erin; and his brothers, Jimmie, Marvin and Raymond.
He is survived by: his wife Pat Meadows; his stepdaughter Julia O'Neal of Murphy, NC; and his grandchildren, Danny, Alex, Samantha and Jacob.
