She was predeceased by: her husband Roger Lewis Thompson; and her parents, Olan May and Birdie May. She is survived by: her daughter Tracie Leavell (Terry); her grandsons, Joshua Leavell and Jacob Leavell; her children, Roger "Junior" Thompson (Tinnia), Wanda Barnett, Beth Eubanks (Danny) and Charlie Thompson; and her siblings, Thomas Harold May "Smiley", Connie Sue Edwards, Cora Lynn Anderson (Charles) and Wilma Lea Cassey. She is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren as well as nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations to St Jude Children's Hospital or to the American Lung Association for COPD research.
