She was predeceased by: her parents, T. G. Brand and Lillian Brand; and her husband Eugene Gayton. She is survived by: her children, Johnny, Marty and Brenda. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.

The Great Depression, WWII, breast cancer, the pandemic and several major surgeries.
