Gloria C. Zerby Obituary

Gloria Zerby, of Acworth, GA, passed away February 14, 2023 at the age of 90.

Gloria was born September 5, 1932 in The Bronx NY to the late Victor and Laura Compagnoni. She grew up in The Bronx with her sister Marie. She eventually moved to Euclid, OH and started a family. She worked at Richmond Heights Hospital, eventually becoming Director Of Volunteer Services. She was a member of both the Boy and Girl Scouts, including distributing cookies for sale from her home. She was also active in the PTA and was President for awhile. After her children started their own lives she reallocated to Acworth, Georgia. She worked at Sears for many years in Ohio and Georgia before retiring. She was a member of Transfiguration Church. She enjoyed playing Mahjongg, gardening and watching her grandkids grow.

Gloria is preceeded in death by husband LaMar (1977) and son Michael (2005) and grandson Nathaniel 1995. She is survived by sons Dennis (Amy) of Cuyahoga Falls and Glen of Acworth and 5 grandchildren.

Gloria will be buried at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon, Ohio at a later date.
