He is survived by : his wife Brooke Haywood McDowell; his children, Sarah Grace and Miller Tate; his parents, Roxie Olivia Shead of Dallas, GA and Gary Allen McDowell Sr. of Dallas, GA; his parents-in-law, Ken and Jane Haywood of Acworth, GA; his siblings-in-law, Lindsay Haywood Pirlot (Gael) of Marietta, GA and Paul Haywood of Marietta, GA; and his nephew Miles Pirlot.
