She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Clyde Parris and Opal Parris of Summerville, Georgia.; and her siblings, Ronald "Duck" Parris, Leon Parris and Donnie Parris.
She is survived by: her siblings, Cecil Parris (Polly) and Anne Lanier (Rennard); her children, Brent Busby (Lorrie Bazzell) and Nicole Phillips (Patrick); her granddaughters, Bailey Woodard (Larry), Anslee Alford (Brandon) and Carley Phillips; and her great grandchild Braydon Alford. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Georgia Funeral Care (4671 S Main St, Acworth, GA 30101). A funeral service was held on Sunday, March 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the North Star Baptist Church (3413 Blue Springs Rd, Kennesaw, GA 30144).
