She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Grady Murphy and Laura Murphy; her husband Alvin Brown; her child Denman (Janice) of Marietta; her siblings, Frances Hobdy and James Murphy (Peggy); her granddaughters, Rachel Freeman (Jason), Deborah Long (James) and Sarah Long (James); and her great grandchildren, Kylie, Layne, Brodie, Evelina, Georgia, Elliott and Charlotte.
