He was predeceased by: his wives, Barbara Vassallo and Dorothy Vassallo; his son Tommy Vassallo; and his stepson Jamie Cockerill. He is survived by: his son Jimmy Vassallo; his sister Pat Borkowski; and his stepchildren, Debra Underwood, Bill Cockerill, Pam Cockerill, Susan Cockerill and Stephen Cockerill. He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
